The Birth of a Brand
CozyNest was a brand new name in the home decor industry, with a vision to bring cozy, Scandinavian-inspired designs into homes across the country. Despite having a stunning range of products ready to go, they faced one major hurdle—they didn’t have an online presence. As a company with no existing website, they needed a place where customers could browse, get inspired, and make purchases with ease. That’s when they turned to me for help.
CozyNest’s founders wanted an online store that reflected their brand ethos: warmth, simplicity, and modern comfort. They wanted more than just a functional e-commerce platform—they wanted a digital experience that made customers feel as if they were already in the cozy spaces their products could create.

Laying the Foundations for Cozy Browsing
The project began with a series of discovery meetings where we dove deep into the brand’s identity and what they wanted to achieve online. With no previous site to reference, we had a blank slate to work from—a thrilling opportunity to build something from the ground up.
I started by sketching wireframes that mapped out the user journey. The focus was on making navigation as effortless as possible, with clear categories and a clean design that guided users to the right products. CozyNest wanted customers to feel at home on their site, so every decision, from the layout to the filtering options, was made with user comfort in mind.
After the wireframes were approved, I moved on to the design phase. Using Figma, I created a minimalist design that showcased CozyNest’s products against soft, neutral backgrounds, giving the site a calming, inviting feel. The branding was consistent throughout, with a focus on simple, modern typography and large product images that let the decor speak for itself.

Building the Nest
Though I often work in no-code platforms like Framer, for this project, we decided that collaborating with a professional development studio was the best way forward. Given the complex features we wanted to integrate—such as a product recommendation engine and room visualization tools—we needed the expertise of seasoned developers to bring the vision to life.
The development team took the designs and translated them into a smooth, fully responsive website that worked seamlessly across all devices. Every aspect of the site was optimized for mobile, ensuring that shoppers could browse and purchase items as easily on their phones as on a desktop.

A Warm Welcome to the Digital World
Once the site launched, CozyNest made a splash in the home decor scene. The clean, user-friendly interface allowed customers to browse effortlessly, filter products by category, and see detailed information with just a few clicks. The product pages highlighted high-quality images and detailed descriptions, while the interactive room visualization tool helped customers envision how each piece would look in their own homes.
The partnership with the development studio paid off, as the site performed flawlessly, handling increased traffic during the brand's launch with ease. Best of all, the website’s aesthetic perfectly matched CozyNest’s brand: inviting, simple, and stylish.

A Home for CozyNest
Helping CozyNest build their very first website was a unique and rewarding experience. From initial concept to final execution, every step was tailored to create a digital space as comfortable and inviting as their products. Working closely with a development studio allowed us to bring the complex features to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. The CozyNest website is now the heart of their growing business, offering customers a warm welcome into their world of stylish home decor.
